The game, developed with the MUGEN engine, is a complete fangame that's covered even the most minimal details. As you'd expect, the arcade mode has you running through maze-like settings, except you have to face a sequence of difficult monsters using your own agility and the special moves for each character.
As this is at heart a fighting game, it lets you play all 28 available characters, among them several illustrious members of the Belmont family, in the inevitable versus and training modes as well as a cooperative mode where you face the end-of-level villains in pairs.
Castlevania Fighter is a game made by fans and for fans. Guaranteed to elicit a smile or two from all the vampire hunters out there who've spent decades enjoying those top titles from Konami.
