By default, the PowerPoint shapes that you insert on your slide are flat and two-dimensional. And this indeed works well most of the time. Yet,there are opportunities and situations that may benefit from a three dimensional graphic. It is times like these that you can apply plethora ofShape Effects that PowerPoint provides, or just use theBevel shape effect that makes it stand apart by making your shape look embossed, like a button, or even a pillow, the differentoutput variations occur since there are many Bevel presets available in PowerPoint 2013.Play with all the presets, and some Bevel presets will make your shapes will look as if they can pop out of the slide, as shown within the samplesyou see in Figure 1, below. Do note though that 3D does not always have to be loud and opulent, there are plenty of Bevel effectpresets that are more restrained and understated!

- Grunge Bevel Text Effect Here is an amazing and high quality embossed text effect with a grungy feel. It's made from a combination of two layer styles and it works with any text or shape.
- The text effects that you apply using the Text Effects button in the WordArt Styles group-Shadow, Reflection, Glow, Bevel, 3-D Rotation, and Transform-are similar to regular attributes such as bold, italic, and underline, in that they apply modifiers to the basic text to produce some special appearance.
Chocolate Layer Text Effect. Everyone loves a little chocolate. Add some to your designs with the Chocolate Text Effect. The text styles come in either milk chocolate or dark chocolate for variation, and they look realistic with glazy light and soft shadows. Jul 22, 2020.
